Most alarm indicators have an LED that flashes as a theft deterrent. It says "Hey shady guy, this car has an alarm." The 12+ wire is possibly power to the whole alarm (depends on where you're unplugging it), so unplugging it might be disabling the alarm. The light is most likely operating as intended and uses VERY little power so it won't drain your battery unless your car sits for weeks at a time.

I have zanussi ZWH 6140 P WATER WONT DRAIN ERROR CODE 5 FLASHING RED LED LIGHTS?

First, always check carbon brushes on main motor especially if the appliance is in use for several years.

Five times the red alarm means a problem with the engine washing.
So, could be:

E51 - Motor power triac short-circuited.
Current leakage from motor or from wiring; Main PCB faulty
E52 - No signal from motor tachometric generator.
Wiring faulty; Motor faulty; Main circuit board faulty.
E53 - Motor triac sensing circuit faulty (wrong input voltage to
microprocessor). Main circuit board faulty.
E54 - Motor relay contacts sticking (high voltage level when
the relay switches to OFF).
Current leakage from motor or from wiring; Main PCB faulty;

Rapid reading last alarms:
Press the START/PAUSE button and the nearest option button simultaneously (4 and 6) for at least 2 seconds: the LEDs initially switch off, and then display the flashing sequence indicating the last alarm.

Why did the red flashing alarm light stop flashing? Alarm and remote working fine

Most likely the 12 volt led light burned out.. all bulbs LED too don't last.. Find the 2 wires usually Black and red and check for 12 volts with the alarm set and if you have 12 volts,. you need to go to radio shack and see if they still have 1. 2 volt led bulbs.. Good luck.

Displaying the alarm code

The alarm code is displayed by a repeated sequence of flashing of the ANTI-CREASE/END OF CYCLE LED (0.4 seconds on, 0.4 seconds off, with a pause of 2.5 seconds between sequences). The buzzer emits a series of ,bips" in synchronization with the flashing of the LED.

  • ANTI-CREASE/END OF CYCLE LED: indicates the first number of the a alarm code
  • START/PAUSE LED: indicates the second number of the alarm code
Now you must count how many times the LED lit up and we will know the fault code.

The indicators are wired in to the alarm wires in the loom, i would suggest you check the signal fuse, and the relay, poss switch, do the indicators *** on but not flash? If not and the fuse is ok remove flasher relay and join the wires together if the indicators light this proves the circuit is ok and the relay must be at fault, are the indicators standard, or led
