Question about Toshiba TP55H60 55" Rear Projection Television

No power to TP55H60

I'm receiving a projection tv for free but the problem is that no power is coming into the unit or at least the power won't turn on. Any solutions I can do other than calling a repairman?

The power lamp flashes when turned on, no picture???
Ur tv needed a new lamp.Ur current tv lamp,in the tv now.U used the tv about 4 or 5 hours a day.Like the last 1 1/2 or 2 years the tv in used?The lamp life span is over.

Toshiba 55inch rear projection.
Check your connections to make sure they are not loose, also if you pull the boards check for burnt solder points. I have parts that are good if you want them, very cheap. Email me at hill6399 at yahoo.

I have a 1998 toshiba tp55h60 that I have been using for my classroom. Recently I tried to plug the wii into it and there is no sound or picture from any of the video/audio in connects. I even tried to run the wii through a VCR by using the coaxel. Still got nothing. The menu screen still comes up and I have tried to reset everything. Is there a simple fix for this or should I just free up some space and scrap it.
