The fact that the LED flashes means that the problem has nothing to do with the fuse since some power goes through. Assuming you know a thing or two about TV repair, then problem is likely to be an overloaded stage - probably vertical but most likely horizontal deflection. If you a novice rather leave it to the pros as the risk of shock or further damage to the unit is likely.

Your main power fuse is probably burnt out. Take off the back of your tv and check for the burnt fuse or burnt connections

JVC TV has flashing red light in front. TV won't turn on when red light starts flashing. After unplugging tv for a while, TV sometimes turns on but screen is shaking violently. Any flashing lights...

sometimes a leaky filter capacitor in the power supply primary section could caused this problem,or a loose solder connection in the power supply section

The LED used in most tv are dual color led,some have two lead, some have three. try to find the same size and replace it.

TV Sony KV-29F1E turn-on failure, red standby LED flashes (starts after 10-20 attempts)

When the set ends up flashing the LED, it should be a repeatable count. Can you please report that count here? Also, since the set eventually works, I'd suspect a bad connection or a part that has changed value over time. The blink code will help to narrow down the offending circuit.

What type of tv is this ? If it is a GE or RCA you might have a bad flyback transformer.
