Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3
I was given a Motorola Razr V3 as a gift and I can't send/receive any picture messages. I have spoken with my service provider and they walked me through all these different steps and we still couldn't get it to work. Please help!
Go to Motorolas website https://motorolasetup.tarsin.com/sendappsettings.htm and select exact model of phone follow the directions and they will send you update for the phone. I did not realize that I needed to do this I bought my phone through internet and did not understand why could not send pics as my provider said that I shoud be able to. Now I can hope this works. Good luck

If your provider has stepped you through it then maybe it's the size of the pic your trying to send that is stopping you.
Find a pic or one of those little emotions things and send that to yourself.
if this works then the pic you where trying to send was too large.
Most providers have a size limit on text messages b4 they split it into 2 messages it is the same deal with pics and you can't send a pic in 2 separate messages

You sir are a complete idiot, your suggestion has absolutely no bearing on the a fore mentioned problems. You have no clue as to what "Obviously" happened. Yes the Razr V3 is delicate, it's a delicate piece of ****. The problem is probably due to picture or message size which is limited on this phone. I use Corel Photoshop or MPT (Motorola Phone Tools) to re size the pictures to fit into messages and have no problem sending them or for that matter receiving. Though sometimes add text becomes trunkized due to size but that is irrelevant. So I think Mble Maniac had it right.

Could be because your phone is unlocked

I am a certified motorola professional, i have worked on the v3 right through development to deployment on the field.
you have obvouisly misplaced one of the MMS object configuration files AND (i dont know why) a file callled siisisnd.gkt.
What does this mean?
In a nutshell, you have made this problem by continual overuse/abuse of the handset which makes me quite angry when i hear this. People, please take care. the V3 is a very delicate machine which took hours of my hardwork to create and was not designed for abuse.
1. take out the battery and rub the solenoids 18(yes 18) times on a benzene free cloth.
2. put a very very small amount of lemon juice on the connector holes( this increases transmission ease by lubricating the ports fully allowing io(eg sound and video) to stream and display with ease.
3. put the battery back in and charge it for 1 hour or so.
4. you MUST put a new SIM in. This process will de regularize the inbuilt SIM proceedure and will need a new SIM for require once validity routines.
5. leave the phone off for a number of days before registering your unique SIM api key(this will be displayed)

Perhaps ask your network provider to send you a new SIM card with MMS capability - remember to ask to keep your number.
Once you receive the SIM, you will have to call your network provider's customer service department to activate it.
The whole thing takes around 3 days to do, and it's worth it just to find out.
