Question about Xerox WorkCentre 385 Laser Printer

My Xerox Workcentre 385

My WorkCentre 385 is sending thru several, sometimes up to 10 sheets of paper. The last time it did this I pulled them out through the front of the machine. Now it won't feed the paper all the way through, bunches it up in front of the thermal strip!!!

Actually it send up to 10 pages at one time, not in a row. They all jammed and I pulled them thru the front of the machine. Now it just bunches up the paper in front of the Thermal strip. It just won't feed thru the thermal strip part. Did I strip a gear or something?

Your probably got the copy key (readout) set at 10 copies. Try to go to the Xerox site and query for the instruction manual, this works most of the time. This will tell you how to negate the multiple copies

The Xerox is a business machine and has a setting to reduce the size of scans by percentage.

Read the instruction manual to turn it off or play with the buttons.

the Xerox error code 026-714 means that the printer cannot access a remote proxy-server. if the printer has been configured to use this remote proxy instead of your local one (or none at all), none of the mentioned network functionalities will work supposedly.

Xerox 416 Fuser

Is it getting thru the "pinch of the fuser and catching on the stripper fingers? If so clean the fingers, ensure they are not worn or tips broken.(Running sheets with dark lead edge can cause sheets to stick to rollers, try running blank sheets to clean up, if they get thru then try normal copies)
If the sheet stops before entering the rolls more likely to be dirty entry chute, drive problem or sensor problem....need more detail
