I just tried the video above, but it was a bit overkill for my problem. I don't use my unit very often, so I doubted there would be build up in my heating mechanism. Turns out the blockage was in the tube, right before the switch in the handle. If I were to do it over again - I would take apart the handle, unplug from the handle switch the tube coming from the unit, then turn the machine on. I bet it will spray out a bunch of the gunk. Then reattach the tube and it should work. If that doesn't work, check the line running through the unit - look for a big clump of debris blocking the tube. Check the water switch in the handle and the tube on the far side of the switch on the handle - where the water actually sprays out of. If water runs through those parts fine, then they are clear and the blockage is elsewhere. If that doesn't work, then try taking apart the heater (I have the newer version of the green machine - it's white with clear green plastic water holders. The heating mechanism is in a different place, easy enough to find if you unscrew the main body. Look for the rectangular black box - that's it. Good luck!)

Before you take that whole mechanism apart, first take apart the handle unplugging the

Little green machine will not spray cleaner

Have you checked the tiny hole that the spray comes out of. I have one and sometimes it becomes clogged. I take a small needle and run it thru it.

    Won't spray solution

if its not spraying solution there are two possible problems,

    1. the solution carrying line that runs from the unit along inside the hose could be blocked.
2.there mite be a clog somewhere inside the solution tank or leading from the solution tank

Biseell little green machine wont squirt water out

The Pumps on these go bad after a couple of months. They rust and will sometimes spray and other times not then eventually not work at all. If your a handy man pull the top off it and remove the pump motor and replace it yourself. The part number is 603-5029 you can put this number in google shipping and get it to your door for about $15 and replace it yourself or have a friend do it. Ebay has tons of them once again just put in the part number and a list of them will come up.
Thanks and have a good one
    Sincerely, CRTN

I think the pump needs to be replaced in my Bissell little green machine. Some water/solution is being pushed through but not enough to spray only drip, if I hold the machine up high while using it (ie on...

I got my Little Green ProHeat when the product was first unveiled several years ago. Shortly thereafter, the nozzle itself developed a clog in the spray jet. Remove the nozzle from the end of the hose, and with the machine running pull the trigger. If a great amount of solution comes out of the supply hole, then your nozzle is clogged. You can try clearing it with a very thin pin and then rinsing it out.

In about 6 months, my pump would no longer spray solution at all but I could hear the tiny pump still running inside the machine when I would pull the trigger. Remove the tanks, unplug the unit, and look carefully and you will see the few screws holding the unit together. Pull it apart carefully and don't use much force as some of it snaps together and you don't want to break those tabs. Once open, you can find the solution pump, a little fella. The drive shaft on the motor that spins the pump had rusted away completely! Design flaw. In lieu of getting it repaired, I simply started using a spray bottle for my solution application. Several years later and I'm ready to take the time to replace the pump - a very simple process. From the research I've done, the part number for the solution pump is:
    Manufacturer's Part Number: 6035029
If you google search "Bissell 6035029 VacPartsWarehouse" without the quotes, you should find your part there for around $9.

Try this direct link to VacPartsWarehouse's website:
VacPartsWarehouse Bissell 1425-2 Little Green ProHeat
Click item #9. It's very simple to install. If you can wield a philips screwdriver, and pay attention to how you've disassembled the unit and then just reverse the steps, you can fix this yourself on the cheap.

    Good luck! :)

My Bissell Little Green won't spray the solution. The suction seems to be working fine and the lines are all connected as they should be. What's up and how can I fix it?

I also had the same problem as you.
Try suctioning up a full tank of hot tap water into the collection tank to soften/release a possible kink in the tubing inside of the vacuum hose that carries solution out to the spray tip.
I did this a couple of times and it worked. This info I found on the Bissell website.
    Good Luck!

    Bissel Little Green Spray Motor

Motor was seized. Probably from lack of use combined with the moisture involved with such a device. I loosened the motor with a pliers, gave it a small shot of wd-40, and off we go. Works fine.
