TV showed

TV showed "Problem Detected" with a possible solution of unplugging my unit for 60 secs. and allowing it to reboot. I do this routinely (Once a mo), but did it again. This time it cleared ALL recorded items (including protected items) I had 43 hours available for recording. It also Cleared all scheduled timers, and now will not allow me to record if I try to use "Create A timer" or "Create a Scedule". Is my harddrive fried?? (I've had problems with it locking up for about the last 12 months)
