SOURCE: The browser i am using refuses to sign in. (cookies rejected)

hi, If you can't get there because you need to enable cookies, I can help you.

Go to the tools menu up at the top of the Internet Explorer or you can get there in the control panel. From there you need to open the Internet options and then click on the privacy tab.

Next click on the advanced button and look at the picture on the link below to see what has to be checked. Then hit apply and close or OK.

If this doesn't work, go to the main tab and delete your cookies and try it again. Check the date, including the year, on your computer clock. Well ...I said it was silly didn't I? smile.gif But it's a quick thing to look at ...and it really can cause the problem. or What happens if you turn off any kind of cookie control in Firefox. Tick the 'Allow sites to set cookies' box and select the option to keep cookies 'until they expire'.

Does Yahoo now let you in if the password is typed? If you are setting cookies to expire when the browser is closed, then the cookie won't be there (or won't be current) to automatically log you into sites next time you go back. Maybe clear the cookies and start again with the'until they expire' option set and see how that goes. or try with other browser like opera thank you,

SOURCE: i cant sign in in my yahoo messenger its hard to sign in......

restart your pc and try again........if you are using messenger 9.0 then click on <messenger> before sign in then click on <connections and preferences> and mark there an option <use no proxy> i hope that will be solved.

if this does not work then wait for sometime and then retry, this also happens if u shutdown messenger without logging out.

Please check in case you haee blocked the website.

In case you are using internet exploere 7

click on tools -> internet options -> Privacy Tab-> Sites.

Make sure that yahoo is not listed there.

In case you are still not able to access, try clear cookies and cache.

In case still inaccessiable, try a different browser.

SOURCE: i can enter my user

Try using another browser. If you have the correct password it will definitely work. If it still is disabled try resetting your password. Afterwards it usually auto-logs you in

I changed my gmail password now xbox live wont play

Are you google and microsoft accounts somehow linked? I'd recommend clearing out any possible residue cookies, signing out of your accounts then restarting your system and trying to sign back in or simply contact Microsoft Support.

How do I stop the automatic login when I go to gmail. I want it to require the user to enter the user name & password each time.

Pulled from Google's site:

Disabling automatic sign-in
If you're being automatically signed in to your Google Account, you may have enabled either a password-storing feature in your browser, or the Google Accounts option to "Stay signed in." Learn more about stored passwords in Google Chrome,Mozilla Firefox, and Windows Internet Explorer.
Check if the Google Accounts "Stay signed in" option is actually enabled. Visit the Google Accounts homepage and verify if the checkbox below the Sign In button is selected. If it's selected, delete your browser's cookies.
Each time you sign in to your Google Account, make sure the "Stay signed in" option isn't selected.
If the problem persists, you may want to clear your browser's cache and cookies. Please note that while deleting your cookies may resolve the problem, it will also remove your saved settings for sites you've previously visited.

Can not login to my gmail account

Point your web browser at http://www.gmail.com

If another account comes up, sign out of it by clicking the avatar in the upper-right then clicking "Sign out."

If you then still can't sign in to your account, click the "Need help?" link on the sign-in page.

If you're getting an error message, what does it say?

Do not need a password, and nowwhere to sign out to gmail

I can't quite understand you, if you mean you need no password to login, that's not entirely correct, since you do need a password, however if you keep the "Keep Me Signed" box ticked, it means you will stay logged in even if you close your browser or even shutdown your PC, to sign out of Gmail just click your name on the top right corner and click the Sign Out button, like here:

I have to keep signing in every time i use google mail.this has just started today.there is no box to check to keep me signed in for 2 weeks.

Log out of Google / Gmail

Within Firefox go to:

Tools - Options - Privacy

Click on link "remove individual cookies"

Find the Site google.com

Click button "Remove Cookie"

Logon to Google /Gmail and see if option to stay signed in appears

I've seen evidence that this doesn't always work the first time so try clearing the cookies a second time if the first attempt fails...

Password will not allow to sign in changed to new password gianed acess signed out can not sign in wont stay sign in

Many times the reason you cannot stay logged into your mail account is because of cookies. Gmail will try to set a cookie in your internet browser. If you are blocking cookies or otherwise not accepting cookies, this may contribute to the problem you are facing.
