Question about Mitsubishi WD-65C9 65" DLP HDTV
TV works, DVD, Video Game... But trying to play SOME Blu-Ray discs , the Movie loads, exactly at the beginning of the movie, when 1080p kicks in (I guess),a popping sound and all the movie is like faded out, whiteish or foggy. It happens only with some movies like Elysium. Tried firmware upgrade of player and TV, nothing.

SOURCE: how do i get 1080p
How did you get 720p? I have having trouble viewing anything above 480p. When using my directv HD DVR, the screen goes black when it tries to show anything above 480p. Is it the tv or the DVR?

Connect your PS3 through the HDMI 2 port on the TV and as a PC under the tv settings. Then auto setup the tv on the PS3 and it will now see it as 1080P. It will give you some error message whenever the PS3 is first turned on but it will work. Hope this helps everyone.
