Please check information in the TV screen. Is it unknown disk or just nothing. Unknown disk is indicate your lens is unable to read the disk. It could be because bad disc, dirty lens or defective lens. If nothing information in your screen, probably the problem is in your small motor to spin the disk.
So please check the root cause so you can locate the problem precisely before take repair / replacement.

Unfortunately, there is no other disk. There is a patch available at to try. If the laptop is actually spitting the disk out rather than saying it can't read it, your disk may be bad, not just scratched. You may need a replacement. See if it can be read by another PC.

You don't need to download any software.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

C drive full unable to download.

When you download something, point the storage to the disk you want to store on.
For exampel, you click on something you want to save/download, you been asked what you want to do with that file, select save and select where to save it and save it on one of the other two disks you have.

If you using a bittorent tool to download you do the same thing in the settings on that tool, change the directory of storage to one of the other two disks you have.

Feel free to ask if you dont understand

Good luck

Bad sectors

Use the following link to download the software, which helps u to detect as well as completly remove badsectors, but before u do tat, here is the answer for wat is bad sectors..

Hard disk drive is an integral part of every computer. It stores all your information. One of the most prevalent defects of hard drives is bad sectors on the disk surface. Bad sectors are a part of the disk surface which contains not readable, but frequently necessary information. As a result of bad sectors you may have difficulties to read and copy data from your disk, your operating system becomes unstable and finally your computer may unable to boot altogether.

When a hard drive is damaged with bad sectors, the disk not only becomes unfit for use, but also you risk losing information stored on it. The HDD Regenerator can repair damaged hard disks without affecting or changing existing data. As a result, previously unreadable and inaccessible information is restored.

ths is the software

A powerful hard disk tool that can detect and repair physical bad sectors on a hard disk drive surface and regenerate hard disk.

Hard disk failure

Hi, assuming the hdd won't finish a format, it is possible that some sectors are damaged. If you still want to try and use the hdd even with these defects, you can try and partition the hdd. Guesstimate at what point the hdd stops responding and really guess where the defects end. With this info, partition the hdd into 3 with the middle containing the defective sectors. Format only the first and third partitions. For simplicity, Win98 might be easier to work with rather than XP. Hope this be of some help. Do post again and let us know how things turn up.

Wont recognize burned disks

This does sound like a defective drive, most likely a laser / reader issue, because the refractive properties of the CDR is different from a "pressed" disk it looks like thia failed TOC seek issue, the head starts at the center of the disk and reads outwards, the click noise is most likeley the head reaching the terminus (the outer limit of the motorised movement), the drive then unable to find the TOC gives up and decides the disk is unreadable. if this drive is within the manufacturer's Warrantee period I would reccommend sending it back.
