Question about Sonic Impact Technologies i-P23 Portable Speakers for Apple iPod - Black

1 Answer

Sony i-P23 speakers were dropped and won't work now.

My Sony iPod speakers fell from my car seat to the floor of the car and now will not work. Display has backwards 7 on it but will not turn on or change even when I plug in or change batteries. Anywhere to get this repaired?

I would go back to where you got it. I have also noticed that the apple workers at the apple store are really good at fixing those things.

Why will my 2012 Ford Taurus seat go backward but not forward, goes up or down also

You know, I had that exact problem when a nickle fell down between the seats and blocked the track the seat runs on. Another time, a penny did the same thing on another car.
A test would be to unplug the harness under the seat and see if the seat was getting "juice" when the button was pushed to make it go "forward".
God bless your efforts.

Can you hook an ipod to this unit

If you locate aux input is the 1/8" headphone jack. You can get that L/R rca to 1/8" headphone jack at any electronics store. Then you should be able to play your IPOD. I know for fact that my ipod works playing mp3's straight in but many people complain that they are still unable to see the IPOD display. Look for nuts inside rails where seat is attached to floor, if not, observe under vehicle in that area for nuts to remove that are attached to studs coming down through floor.

Try disconnecting the Speaker that fell, and then turn the unit on. If the protect signal goes away, There is probably a problem with the speaker and it will have to be repaired/replaced.
