Question about Zebra Stripe S600 Thermal Label Printer
I have an S600 zebra that is installed locally. I've loaded the drivers and it works perfectly when printing badges (from a badge roll). However, it became defective so I've installed an exact duplicate in its place. Now, when I try to print, it just advances the badge stock and doesn't print.
Does anyone have any ideas why it's doing this? I have Windows XP SP2 with the latest patches/security updates installed.
Here's a manual if you don't already have one:
Loosen the plastic thumbscrews that tighten the printhead down onto the ribbon and media. Perhaps there's too much pressure, not allowing the media to advance.
Also just try to reset it to the factory defaults.
Hold down FEED and PAUSE while you power up. When it's finished resetting, press MODE 4 times to save the settings. I've had to do this quite often with ours.
Good luck! I hope this helps. If so, please leave a rating!
