Question about Mitsubishi WS-55859 55" Rear Projection Television
We had a tornado last week, I was watching the weather when the power failed. When it was restored 23 hours later, everything else in the house worked but the TV will not turn on. Tried resetting and when release the button, the light resumes blinking. Repairman I called said probably the DM module for $400 which will probably mean replacing the set. When I listed it on Freecycle, one reply said I could replace a fuse for $5 and solve the problem. Any ideas appreciated.
Well you could replace caps in the dm module they are 1000microfarads @16 volts there are 7 of them 99% of the time that works if not you have a problem with the e2p module which is also located in the dm this will definitley fix yiur problem
