Question about Panasonic KX-TG1033S Cordless Phone

Open Question

How can I change channels on my kx-TCD510AXM cordless phone. I get massive interference caused by my router on the phone line when the router is switched on. Changing channels on the router has no effect. Only switching it off works. Filters are also fine as far as I know. Even with the base on hands free there is interference so it must be at the phone line level. Any ideas how to solve the issue?

SOURCE: Panasonic KX-TG2740 Cordless Phone - Can I reset handset registration

press function button on handset, scroll to initial setting, select by pressing right arrow, scroll to registration, select, select hs registration, follow directions on handset display, pressing mute on "new" base station, and ok on handset(plugged in). If you like, you can unregister with the "old" base unit first.

SOURCE: "no link to base" error message

Sounds like the antenna is not working, and signal is not getting to the cordless sets.

Try unplugging your base station (unplug everything; power and phone cable - the basestation were all the cords are plugged into) and leave it unplugged, pull out all the batteries in the phones, and then start by putting all the batteries back into the phones.

Once the phones are back and powered up, plug in the base station again, and see if that helps.
All this is doing is re-setting the phones and base station and forcing them to re-link to each other.

I hope this helps.

My wii is showing me the 51031

Error Code 51030, 51031, 51032
It appears that your Wii console's Internet connection may be affected by wireless interference. Try the following:
    • Change your wireless router's channel to 1 or 11
Changing the wireless channel on your router may help. Most wireless routers have a channel range of 1 through 11. The best channels to try are usually 1 and 11, as they do not overlap with other channels. Typically, the channel settings for your router will be found in the router's main "Wireless" tab.
    • Where is your wireless router located?
Move your router away from walls and off the floor and try to place it in a central location in your home. Also, keep it away from metal objects such as metal filing cabinets which can cause interference.
    • Look for other devices
Noise from cordless devices (cordless phones), or wireless electronics (wireless keyboards, headphones, cell phones), especially those using the 2.4GHz frequency, can interfere with your wireless signal. Also, older microwave models can cause wireless interference. Avoid electronics that use the 2.4GHz frequency, instead look for devices that use the 5.8GHz or 900MHz frequencies.

Interference on cordless Panasonic phone

The wireless signal is most likely your culprit. Wireless-B and Wireless-G signals operate at 2.4GHz frequency, which is the same that many cordless phones use.

Some wireless routers will allow you to change the channel that they broadcast on -- that might help your interference problem slightly, but it probably won't make it go away completely. Your best bet is to keep the cordless phone a good distance away from the computer and wireless router (if not in another room, at least on the other side of the room).

Hope that helps!
