Question about Computers & Internet
My Sony Camcorder handycam has the capability of taking pictures and it comes with a disk that works with Windows XP and Windows Vista.Put CD-ROM disk into my Dell Inspiron 530 which has Windows XP and Windows Vista, and BOOM, nothing. Is their something Im not doing right, I put the disk into the tray, push tray closed, and it should put my camcorder information right up on the screen. On the Sony manual indicates: Place the suppied CD-ROM inthe disk drive of your computer and the installation screen appears. But as I have said nothing. I really need this to work, so I can put pictures into my computer for my job!
Ok with that you need to insert the disc and then go into the my computer section of your computer and then in the CD rom drive you should see the disc and you will click on it to start the process. However if that does not work then your CD rom drive is defective and you need to purchase a new one.
