Best thing to do it replace the fuser.
You can google a business called "the parts drop". Call and ask for Britt, He will have the parts you need at a fair price. I dont work there, but have done business with them for long time.
He may also just recommend some parts to replace.
But if the fuser has over 30,000 prints on it, it really is worth just putting in a new one.
Its easy to reaplace. Just 4 small screws.
You may want to first off, open the right side door, as if clearing a jam. One the upper rear, there is a white connector from the fuser to the frame. It may have become unplugged if the plastic cover is missing.

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Hi i have a Xerox work centre workcenter m15i which when it turn on, it display heating Error.what could b the problem.assist

Heater quarz lamp is blown/cut. You can access it by removing the right side back vertical panel, removing a connector and four screws. You can pull the whole fuser assembly out very easily.
There is no spare part for the lamp itself. You must replace the fuser unit (which contains the lamp + thermostat).

Xerox M15i has a paper jam 2 error, how to fix

Hi, open the right side as if you were removing a jam. You will see 4 silver phillips screws. Remove them, unplug the fuser and slide it out. I think you will find either a paper folded up in the fuser or in the paper path just past the fuser.
The fuser itself probably needs rebuilt or replaced.

Take care

Reads open heat error

This sounds like a problem with the fuser or possibly the fuser lamp. You can try turning the printer off for about ten minutes to cool the machine off and then turn back on. If that doesn't work you would need a new fuser unit. The fuser is located behind the door on right side of the machine. There are four screws used to hold the fuser in place. Good Luck, I hope this helps.

The heat rod is bad in the fuser.
You need to replace the fuser.
