Yor clock is a "lemon". This is unusual but means that an error was made at the manufacturing plant. The manufacturer will usually replace a clock with this type of problem. (you did not cause it, it was like that when you got it, i'm assuming).

HOW DO I SET THE CLOCK ON MY NEW BOSCHE BUILT-IN OVEN MODEL HBE5451UC?

Read the owner's manual.
After connecting the oven or after a power failure, 1. Hold the TIMERS button down until the colon blinks on the display.
2. Set the current time with the @ and A buttons. Hold the @ or A button down to change the value faster. The time set is taken over after 5 seconds.

The colon between the numbers on the clock, example 8:00 won't stop blinking even after I set the clock and hit the clock button again.

Sometimes the correct procedure for setting the clock is to press the CLOCK or TIME OF DAY button, then enter the time on the keyboard, then press the START button instead.

Otherwise, as long as you can enter a cooking time and your oven operates normally, then don't worry about it. On some models it is normal for the colon on the clock display to blink all the time.

Good luck.

How do I change the time on my Daiwoo microwave?

  1. Touch the CLOCK pad. This will activate the 12-hour system. (To activate 24-hour system, tap once more)
  2. Enter the correct time of day by touching the time set panels.
  3. Touch CLOCK pad.
You will know that you're changing the time when your display stops blinking and and the colon starts blinking.
If you have any other questions regarding your Daewoo KOR-630A, I located an online manual for you.

I have an Emerson Microwave Oven MW8997W and cannot change the hour (time) on my clock. How do I change the clock? Debbie

If your keys do not work at all, you probably have a bad keypad, in which case I'd ask you to reply back. In the meantime:

SETTING THE CLOCK

When the microwave oven is plugged into an outlet,
the oven will display " 0:00 "

1. Press the CLOCK button; the hour digit will blink
and the clock indicator will light.

2. Press the number keys to set current hour.

3. Press the number keys to set current minute.

4. Press AM/PM to choose AM or PM.

5. Press the CLOCK button again; the display will
show the present time. After the clock has been set,
the time will appear with blinking colon, unless
the oven is cooking or defrosting.

You can actually download your owner's manual here
