do you think the selector switch would be bad before the motor itself?

Asko d3250 pump runs continuously

I have a D3450 that was doing the same. Eventually I ascertained that there was a pressure switch that was not functioning properly. On the D3250 it was only accessible from the rear after taking off the lower panel on the back. It was a black part with a red membrane of sorts. I just disconnected its wire connector instead of replacing the part as it was rather expensive. I've been running mine machine at least 2x day for months since with no problems. Good luck! e53c3564-9255-4057-93f1-a616c7ab21ca.jpg

The basket at the bottom of the dishwasher has water in it, is this a plumbing problem?

as the dishwasher ages and broken glass, coins, ect get in the bottom the impeller that drains the water out gets worn and doesn't work as well. The other cause could be that the drain hoes is partially clogged.

Our Asko D3250 dishwasher is brand new, and it fills up and drains and fills again and then the water inlet fault flashes. It doesn't go past this point.

this sounds like a improper install ! ck to see if the drain hose outlet is lower than bottm of tank. it should drain to the disposal . and have a drain loop under sink .. the dw prosser is sensing that the drain is longer in time so it flasher inlet fault . . elevate the drain and try again ..if it drains to a lower use a stand pipe or a siphon brake . in the install .. mm

D3250 drain blocked error

usually these are blocked at the discharge end under the sink, especially if the hose is hooked to a copper pipe then shoved down the plumbing standpipe. It could also be in the hose behind the dishwasher if someone has fitted an extension onto the hose and used a small diameter coupler. Run the dishwasher on any cycle...if there is standing water you should hear the drain pump run first...if there is no standing water run it on a rinse and hold cycle. at the end of the cycle the pump will run. if you hear the pump, but no water is ejected out the drain hose under the sink, then you most likely have a clog in the hose near the end or in the middle if it has an extensio. if you dont hear the pump run, then its a bad pump and you need a new one (parts like that are covered for 5 years if you use an ASKO servicer) Good luck!

Bosch Dishwasher won't drain, cancel drain lights blink

when you said "I can run a wash", does the machine act normal for that time frame up to the point of drain? if yes, the pump is fine. sounds more like the micro chip on the board is "confused", but not sure why.

Overfill protection tripping

Is there water in the drip pan? My asko developed a leaky inlet solenoid, which would fill the drip pan eventually causing a failure. If the water evaporated, the washer would run. Normally, there should be no water in the drip pan.
