Utilize the numLK button located in the upper right area of the keyboard. Depending on the layout, you may need to press it in conjunction with the Fn or Shift key.
Good luck.

My dog walked over my keyboard and now my touch pad cursor will not work. How do i fix it?

Sounds terminal, dog may have damaged touch pad, have to replace top pad assembly = costly, double check with your local repairer as it is hard to judge without seeing the pad.

How to remove Keyboard from Toshiba Satellite M45 latop.

Before you open the laptop case, remove the battery. The keyboard securing strip doesn’t have any securing screws and shouldn’t cause any problem when you remove it. The keyboard cable connector on the system board is cover by a metal plate and the plate has to be removed before you can get an access to the connector. Before you pull the keyboard cable from the connector you have to unlock it. To open the connector, move the connector lock toward the LCD screen. It is enough to move it 2-3mm to open the connector. Be careful with the keyboard connector on the system board. If you damage it, the entire system board has to be replaced.

Hope this helps

How to turn on the 10-key number pad

does the keys 7-0, u-p, j-;, and m-/ is working under MS-Dos command or not? If not the problem could be the carbon of you keyboard is worn-out, you have to cut the carbon of your keyboard that has connected on the motherboard, but before you cut take off the plastic of the caron atleast 1/2 inc. and cut the old carbon. Make sure that you turn off your power before you do anything. If still the same problem it means that some carbon inside of the keyboard is already worn-out, you have to replace the whole keyboard. Remember if some keys are not working this is hardware related not software nor setting.

Toshiba Satellite M45-S351 BIOS password needs help!

BIOS passwords on Toshiba notebooks have to be reset by an authorized service technician who has the CD available to run the utility.  Their notebooks don't contain a battery reset to erase the password.  It was done as a safety feature to prevent theft from happening and it is a very good one.
If you take it into Best Buy or a computer dealer to get it done, you might have to prove that you are the new owner of the computer before it can happen.
