Question about Nintendo Pokemon Gold
When i save on my gold version, turn off the game, then turn it back on there is no continue, just new game, but very very very very rarly it let me continue but its like 1/100 chance. I've heard the gold/silver games have been having problems with saving.
The Silver/Gold/Crystal generation Pokemon Games all had cartridges that contained a built-in battery that runs theinternal clock, so that your game knows whether its day or night,Monday or Wednesday, etc. Anyway, I assume your battery has run out,and until replaced, the game will not save successfully.
This site give instructions on how to replace the battery: http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-replace-the-battery-in-a-pokemon-goldsilve/
Or you could just buy the game again, I would guess they are about $10 these days.
Great game by the way.
Hope that helps.
