Question about Compaq Presario 5000 PC Desktop
Small wire pops out of niche inside computer when "on" switch is pushed in, so nothing happens - no light, nothing. We've taped it in and, so far, it's working. Will getting a new internal "on" switch, if that is possible, just cause the same problem again down the road?
If you can ... take the front panel off, be careful you don't pull out the wires and light there a bagger for that. When you get it out solder the line back to where it is stemming from.
