Question about Kenmore Washing Machines
The water inlet valve/solenoid on the machine may be faulty and letting
water pass through even when it is supposed to be shut. Try turning the
water off to the machine every time after you use it and if water stops
going in while its off, replace the inlet valve/solenoid if necessary
if u dont find the find the inlet valve or solenoid faulty....
open the door and check the gray rubber inner seal... Look for any tears, rips, pinholes in the door boot. Also make sure the door is parallel with the machine.... The rubber seal is called the "bellow". if there is any damage to this.....Replacements can be ordered on line at searspartsdirect.com, appliancepartspros.com, or repairclinic.com.
