Question about Pioneer DJm500 Professional DJ Mixer W/Effects System
Every now and then when i use the bass rotary switch on me mixer it either cuts out or brings the bass full in
The roatary switch is junk. One of the tangs on the switch is bent or broken, and its not holding the correct freq or signal. You can get a hold of Cherry Switches(on line). Or take the switch out, make a drawing of how it is wired, or how it mounts on the circuit board, bring the switch to an electronic shop, and ask for a replacement. You may need a solder gun, some tinning flux, and a pair of pliers, (cutting pliers as well) to desolder the switch. the switch could be a single or double to 12 pole switch with single to mutiple poles. So if you don't know that, I suggest you bring it an electronical shop. You can do this yourself, but make sure to make a drawing, number the steps, and make a hand wiring diagram. Good Luck I hpope this works for you.
