All of the sudden my set is now turning to channel 1 whenever it is turned off and then back on (instead of staying on AV-1 which I need for my digital cable).
Any idea how to fix?
Did you ever get a solution for this? I have a very similar problem. And yes, I realize this was posted 5 years ago. :) just a shot in the dark. Can't find a solution anywhere else.

I dont know if you tv has this sertting but click menu usally 4 times and it will bring u to a page wich might say channel or something else and u can chane the channel by using the volume buttoms this worked for me and i can put it onto av1 av2 av3 and av4

Try the SAP - same thing happened to me and had to cycle through the audio tracks to get audio back on for that one channel. Good Luck!!!

First make sure SAP or nothing similar is turned on.
After you triple check that just Contact ILO if it continues for more than 1month. This is a software error.
What state are you in?
What channel is this?NBC, ABC
Have you check this at different times of day?
What TV does your son have?
SOURCE: on a Daytek 46 in LCD TV, no AV Digital Cable Signal, but HDMI OK
Had the same problem.
Fixed by unplugging everything from the power source, leaving for 2 minutes then plugging back in.
Works fine now.
