The part number for this carb tool is
530-035560 and it is made by Poulan.
Not sure where you can purchase unless there is a small engine repair shop near you. If they deal in Poulan they may be willing to order one.
Otherwise, try on net for small engine repair.
Dave's Radiator is a good one.

Good luck finding that tool unles you're a certified repair shop. The simplest solution involves a large flat screwdriver and a small hammer. Carefully tap away the pot metal that surrounds the adjustment screws until you can access them with a pair of needle nose pliers. The high speed adjustment is on the left and the idle is on the right. I had mine running correctly in about 10 minutes. Take your time with the removal process and good luck!

Have you been able to make adjustments to the carb's high and low settings? If not, there is a good chance it has the limiter caps that require a special tool for the adjustments. It will have to be taken to a dealer to get that done.

Can not adjust carburetor

Yes...they have them on Ebay. Normally you won't be able to get one from a small engine repair place or dealer unless you're "in" with them. You can make using a 22 gauge-18 calibre electrical connector. (Quick disconnects-female) They need to be female spade terminals and you can stick um on the end of a screw driver and then push them down over the round-splined heads of the L and H adjusting needles on the carb. Probably have them at auto parts store....if not Radio Shack.

New poulan pro will not start

when I bought mine. The weed eater didn't start right away so I took it back where I bought it and I had them look over it. when reading the manuel It said that it might not start right away becuse the fuel mixture needs to be adjusted on the pro prolan pp125 weed eated. so we utilized what we had around us and found a tube. adjusted it and it started right up.

Runs but dies when I squeeze trigger

Sounds like you will need to clean your carburetor.
Sometimes you can get by with priming it a few times, and letting it
run a few times like that and it will flush the gunk out of the jets,
but most of the time you will need to rebuild the carburetor.
If the mower is over a couple years old, then I also recommend that you
buy and install a new carburetor repair kit, because the diaphragm will
get hard and that will cause it to be hard to crank.
When you clean your carburetor and remove the jet screws, count the
number of turns it takes to seat the jets from their original position.
That way when you go to put the jets back in, you know how many turns
they were in/out.
Please rate me, Thanks
Good Luck, I hope this helped

Won't stay running

You will need to disassemble the carburetor and spray with carb.cleaner. Make sure the small screen is free of debris.(Should be able to see daylight through it.)

Use a Den Tek Brush, (http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=165357&catid=1152),to clean the small portals in carb. These portals can become blocked. Reassemble and start.

If the carb. parts are more than 4 years old, you may have to replace them.

Check the fuel lines for cracks/breaks. If they are o.k., then:
