Question about Ricoh Caplio R30 Digital Camera
Per the problem description, it's possible to fix it, but requires to open the camera, and clean properly all residues of moisture and corrosion, which it may require the usage of a miscroscope in case such residues are under intergrated circuits.
If you are familiar with fixing electronics, then you can do it yourself. If not, then I do recommend you that you have a qualified technician to do the repair.
I do need to warn you that if has passed several months of the water incident, the corrosion may affected permanenty the printed board circuit copper traces, and it may be necessary to replace the whole main board (or the lcd screen if the flat ribbon cable has been affected too).
If you don't want to spend money in fixing it, with the risk that it may not be possible to do it, then you can sell it AS-IS for parts, and use the money you will get to buy another camera.
