Question about Craftsman 20 hp 42 in. Deck Yard Tractor
It sounds as though your seat safty switch may have failed. If you tilt the seat forward you will see a wire harness connector that attaches to the safty switch, disconnect the conntector and try engaging the blades.
You did'nt mention the year or model # of the tractor so at this point my recommendation is based of the average tractor with a mechanical blade lever.
