The mechanism to release the extendable handle is broken, is this fixable? when I squeeze the grey button under the centre of the handle only one side of the extending arm releases, i can extend the handle...

Good Afternoon

From your description, what has happened is the wire inside the handle has broken. The wire on its own is not available as a seperate spare part item, to replace this you'd need to replace the handlebar.

When bumping up stairs handle bar extends, and feels loose (handle bar is very wobbley)

The Bugaboo is not the ideal stroller for bumping up and down stairs, The reason being it's core design. Most stroller handles have two or more mounting points to the frame but most strollers have baby facing forward and facing the big bad world and not Mummy. The Bugaboo is very clever, the handle can be locked ether way and the seat face either way but the handle has only one point where it attaches to the frame and that point has to rotate and lock. To give you an idea of the forces involved a crow bar the length of the Bugaboo handle can pull six inch nails out of hard wood!
Unfortunately Bugaboo have not used the best material solutions in this critical handle lock. They use a plastic disk to move aluminum locking pins and they fail if you bump down to many stairs. This happened to our Bugaboo in New Zealand. I repaired ours and now I help others by making or sourcing the better quality parts to repair them. I use aluminum for the disk and stainless steel for the pins.
If you are lucky another to have a Bugaboo less then two years old and still have proof of purchase documents Bugaboo will replace the frame for you. If it's older you can buy a new frame for around $400 but this will also increase you resale value by around $200 when you sell it. Lastly you can repair it for around $100 a side depending on parts required, Click on my name and you'll find many posts on how to repair both the Handle lock and the Handle extension lever or wing-nut. macnutz_23.jpg

How to replace rear door handle

you will need to take the door card off of the door, peel back the plastic cover thats on the door, you will need to unscrew the actual door latch should be three screws from the outside, dont pull it out completely, but just lower it a little. you will need an extension and a 10mm socket, either use an extension or a screw bit extender to undo that nut then again with the one on the left. the handle should then push out and lift up from the outside of the car, reverse the steps to get it back in.

I need to find a new handle bar for the quinny buzz as the handle bar will no longer extend

Dorel UK 01842 763 281 (Mon – Fri, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm) are the UK suppliers of all spare parts for the quinny range and can supply you with a new handle bar. It's likely that the grey button (handle bar extender button) is broken. This pulls up the little studs on the underside of the handlebar allowing you to adjust. Its a fiddly job but can be done.

Peg perego pliko 3 handle extender

Sounds like something is broken inside the handle. The button isn't catching. You could do a few things, quick fix, put a rubberband around the shaft just below the handle when it is extended and it will keep it up high. Better fix, contact Perego and get a replacement handle. If it has been doing this since you purchased it, it may be under warranty. If it is past the warranty period, you can either take the stroller to a Perego repair center near you or potentially replace the handle yourself. Perego customer service could direct you better there. You can email them in the US at:
