Question about GE (PSS26MSRSS) Side by Side Refrigerator
I have a GE side by side fridge. Yesterday something started leaking from the bottom of the frame that goes around the dispenser unit in the door. It is a light yellow liquid, not sure if it is dirty water or something else. The water and ice dispensers are working fine. There is a little notch at the bottom left corner of the frame around the whole dispenser unit on the front of the door, and that is where the leak is. Model GSH22KGRE.
The yellow/orangeish liquid is probably rust in water. Your dispenser might be leaking or filling up the tray. There's a space between the tray and the door that, when the tray is filled, leaks water into the door. The water sits, rusts the door metal a bit (or something else builds up), and drips through the holes that the frame pops into.
I'm trying to figure out why I'm dripping currently . . . annoying.

You can remove the frame around the dispenser by pulling it gently and then you access to the screws that hold the dispenser in place. Could be a spillage behind the frame. Good Luck.
