Well I finally called service, and my problem was LINT! There's a door under the dryer to clean out, that isn't in the instruction manual for maintennance. Turns out on this model that the manufacturer has also developed a better, more air tight lint screen.

I had similar problem. Believe it or not - all I had to do, was adjust 1 'foot' under the dryer! I guess it wasn't sitting very level. I only wish I would have figured it out a looong time ago!

Asko dryers

Akso makes "condensing" dryers (Models T721 and T781) that condense the moisture wich then is directed to a drain. The T701 is a vented style dryer so I'm a little confused.

Asko t701 dryer makes exsessive noise and drum rotates slowly

Mine was very noisy. Then I found the impeller clogged with lint. I cleaned it and now the noise is gone.

Remove the lower panel (2 Torx T20 screws).
Remove the impeller cover (1 Torx T10 screw and 4 snaps).
Clean impeller.
Reinstall covers. Don't overtighten screws.

My Asko dryer shut off and my clothes are still wet. It won't start and the light on the pannel will not come on. I know I probably have lint in the system that escaped the lint trap or maybe something...

YOUR DRYER Has a fuse in it look for it probably somewhere close to where the main power comes in at. if it's good check the heat relay contactor assembly. www.repairclinic.com has the model you have and it may even be as simple as the door switch

I've never seen a fuse in an electric dryer, you could have another problem. List your symptoms and the voltage of the dryer.
