Question about iRiver H10 MP3 Player

H10 20gb-hot and won't turn on

I've had my iriver h10 for a few years and now it won't play after charging. i just get "hot".

Heat = bad = kills electronics. Every Mp3 player gets hot when you use it, but some get unreasonably hot because there is a piece of defective hardware.

Try the soft fixes first though - remove and reinsert the batteries, check for firmware upgrades from iRiver's website (their site is full of good information), and use any repair/recovery tool that IRiver suggests.

Most likely, though, this Mp3 player is seeing its last days. There is no repair service for such a problem that would cost less than a new Mp3 player.

Press Play to make it connected.

You can also turn USB Charging off via a long press of the NAVI button to get to the menu then it's under control

yes by the sounds of it , it is your battery try buying a new battery and see how it works form there if it is still playing up you will have to go to your nearest electronic shop and get them to have a look at it

Iriver h320 over heating

well since you copied your copy the iriver software (hidden too) and paste to a temp file (folder) on pc...fortmat the 320 now place the software back onto it from the temp file........and put 2 or 3 songs unto it also (to make sure it was done correct) play if all is well...include all your files back on to it.......a little bit late but feel free to rate the help

Sounds like a battery problem. You'll need to replace it.If you have the expertise there are instructions on the net.

My iriver shit itself

once your iriver is plugged into the charger and then you hold the power button for a few seconds (if dosn't work, try and try again)

E10 showing emergency usb with v1.40

Yeh that happened to my E10. Just go to your nearest Iriver store (you can find store locations on the iriver site) and tell them your problem. They should send it to Melbourne to get fixed. I got mine back a few weeks ago and its fine!
