Question about Fargo Asure ID Express Full Version for PC

I can't login to any websites that require a username & password

When using Firefox 3.0.11 and IE 7 and 8, I cannot log in to any websites that require a username and password. However, the problem does not occur when using IE6. I have taken every corrective step in FF knowledge base, but to no avail. I'm running Windows XP SP3.

    Hi guru_dev, Please forgive me if I am not following the right protocols . . I am a "newbie". First, thank you for your suggestions. Unfortunately, I was unable to pick up any images relating to cookies although I had previously dealt with them as per the FF knowledge base. I did disable pop-up blocker in FF but it made no difference. More importantly, as I need to have near constant access to websites that require usernames etc, I am operating IE6 where there are no access problems (I don't know how to have IE6 and IE7/8 on my laptop at the same time without having to uninstall/install). As a long standing FF devotee, I find any/all versions of IE very frustrating. Additionally, I have a strong wish to support "independents" like Mozilla. So, may I ask you if you will be good enough to offer me solutions directed at fixing FF, please? If this request gives offence, I sincerely apologise. Regards, Geoff

    Hi guru_dev, Cookies are enabled in FF. I am using avast! version 4.8 Home Edition (Resident Protection: High), and Windows Defender Firewall. I have tried enabling/disabling cookies, add-ons without success. I should also mention that System Restore points have been lost. As previously mentioned, I have tried every suggestion in FF knowledge base. I have had only one response from FF forum, dealing with cookies.sqlite, that didn't help.
    All further ideas will be much appreciated. Cheers, Geoff

    Hi, I was unable to scan with Spyware Doctor in either safe or normal modes because I couldn't get a connection for their updates. Without updates, a scan is not possible. However, I ran a scan with Malware Removal Bot and removed 1591 items. And, the problem is not scripting.

    So, the only way I can access some usename/password web addresses is via IE6. I've since downloaded Opera and Safari but they were no better. I wanted to try Chrome but could not even download the setup file. The question that puzzles me is why IE6 basically works, but the others don't. Unfortunately I'm computer illiterate and therefore I'm desperately, desperately in need of help.

    There is another possible angle. 10 days ago I bought an s-video cable to link my laptop and tv. The laptop could see the tv, but I couldn't get an image up on the tv. I then called a tech who came to my home but he couldn't get an image on the tv either. He was singularly unipressive and unhelpful and now predictably denies all responsibility. Goodness only knows what harm he may have caused, although to be fair, I didn't experience the problem for another 2 or 3 days. Then again, I do not go to these particular websites every day. I'm fairly certain the tech turned off some of the programs that hitherto loaded at start up, but since I rarely turn the computer off, I don't know specifically what he did, I do know I have never turned "system restore" off.

    Sorry for this tale of woe, but as you can see I'm in trouble. Finally, thanks for your help thus far. Regards, Geoff

    Hallelujah! Fixed! As you suggested I ran msconfig. Most programs were disabled. I enabled all, and, voila! I have since disabled a few that I can recognise and now all is good.
    I cannot tell you how grateful I am for your absolutely invaluable assistance. I also wish to thank you for your patience in dealing with me, and to express my apologies for neglecting to report the involvement of the tech, here in Melbourne, Australia, 10 days ago. He was clearly the culprit and I should have recognised that possibility at the outset. Now, finally, what do I do? Do I "accept this solution" and look for somewhere to register my support for your efforts?
    It's 0015am Saturday my time and I'm off for my first good night's sleep in a while, so, my thanks once more,

Hey there Jeff, you may have checked this already but just to make sure. In FF click tools, options, privacy and make sure your cookies are enabled. Also what kind of security program are you using as it may be limiting your cookies. If you let me know which one if the FF didn't do the trick, I can tell you how to change it to suit your needs. Let me know

    first thing that may have happened is you got a virus and it's root kit deleted all restore points. I know you have avast but download this program (malwarebytes).

    Save it don't run it. Reboot your computer into safe mode (pressing f8 repeatedly when it turns back on) while running in safe mode, install malwarebytes and run a full scan, may take up to an hour and do not do anything on your pc while its running, just let it go. Let me know what it finds.

    As far as you not being able to log in (I don't know what FF told you) one problem that could be common with FF and IE7 is allowing scripting. In FF click on tools, options, then content. Make sure you allow java script.

    I am not sure as to why you were running spyware doctor, the program I wanted you to run was malwarebytes, install and scan is safe mode. Sorry if there was any confusion to that. go to the following link and click on the green button with blue text saying download now. Don't forget to save it and install in safe mode.

    as far as the tech turning off programs during startup, that is an eassy check click on start=> run, type in msconfig, then hit enter. Check the startup and services tab and let me know if anything there is unchecked. You may as well check the otherr tabs too but hopefully he did not go in there from the sounds of him.

    Oh, you may want to install and run the malwarebytes program just for the heck of it since you said that other program found some stuff. The free version will scan and repair for ya.

    sorry man, one more thing, when you reboot after disabling somethings in the msconfig, a box will pop up. Just click the square so that doesn't happen every time

1)Check the cookies settings as shown in the below image..... Open IE > Click Tools> Click Internet Option> follow the below image steps

    One more thing make Internet Explorer as your default browser....



    In addition, be sure to disable your popup blocker on IE7 as well. (With IE7 open, click on "Tools", select "Popup Blocker", select "Turn OFF Popup Blocker".) The login window may be detected as a popup.

    try downloading and installing the most recent version of Java using the instructions below:

    Click on the link to Sun's Java below, then scroll down and click on the ''Java SE Runtime Environment (JRE)-JRE 6 Update 13'' download button. Follow the prompts, select the Windows platform and the "Language", accept the license agreement, then download the full ''Windows OFFLINE Installation'' file to your desktop,(about 15 MB), scan it with your antivirus (just to be sure it's clean). Once that's done, if you've already got a Sun Java version on the computer, open the Control Panel, double click on the ''Add/Remove Programs'' section, then uninstall all previous versions of the J2SE Java listed there. Once that's done, then install Java JRE 6u13 from the downloaded installer.

    Once Java is installed, since you're using IE7, click on "Tools' in the upper left, select "Internet Options" , then the "Security" tab, then highlight"Internet" icon (the world globe), click on the "Custom Settings" button and change the security level to "Medium", instead of "Medium-High".

Automatic log ins are actually a function of your browser (FireFox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari, etc.) In your browser's settings, you must have "remember username and password" enabled. When I open google, my gmail account shows in the upper right hand corner and by clicking on it , it brings me to my gmail account. Why do I not need a password ?


I believe you're already logged into your Google Account in Google Chrome which keeps your logged-in status. Google will use your login credentials for Google Chrome to allow you to access your Gmail without requiring you to login again. To force a login each time, you may wish to logout of your Google Account from Google Chrome.

Make sure your caps lock key is not on. Make sure you are using the email address you used when you created your Facebook account.

As You Say you cant able to log in to your Facebook Account...
do it.
Option 1>>
1> click on Forget Password
2> enter your mail id (facebook login id)
3> submit it.
4> go to / open / log in to your mail id & check the mail which is sent by facebook for password reset.
5> click on that link
6> enter a new password.
7> now try login to facebook with new password.

Option2 >>
Try other browser like if you use Google Chrome then try with Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer or Safari or Opera.

if you successful login with other browser then you use. then update or reinstall your old browser.

Try updating IE to the latest version if not you can try firefox or google chrome check the manufacturers docs to see if they require a certain web browser.

Hi, I am unable to login into yahoo mail . After filling in the correct username & password, the page returns back to login page.


Your browser's cookies may be disabled. If you're using internet explorer, go to tools > internet options > privacy tab, then set the bar to either medium or low. If it still doesn't work, try reset your ie (internet options > advanced tab > reset) or use another browser (firefox, google chrome, etc.)

I m having problem into login from my yahoo messenger


) Yahoo are concentrating their efforts to resolving sign-in issues with Messenger 10. You may have to upgrade to this version if you cannot resolve your problems and make use of the troubleshooting software - even if you want to retro install an older version later.
2) users who opt for a default browser other than IE may be neglecting to keep IE up to date unaware that IE plays a crucial part in the running of Yahoo Messenger. I use Firefox as my default but note the amount of cleaning in IE when I run ccleaner.
3) Start your trouble shooting with a clean browser
Download 'ccleaner' and run it through a couple of times,using the factory settings and the 'Run Cleaner' control until 0 bytes are seen to be cleaned following a scan
Run the 'Registry' from the left hand toolbar but 'Save' any changes after opting to 'repair' errors.

After updating check you do not have old versions of Flashplayer, Shockwaveplayer and Java running alongside the latest - this can cause conflicts

No luck? check IE settings >Tools > Internet options > Connection tab > LAN > 'Use a proxy server for your LAN' > Advanced - Under 'Proxy address to use' check the info in 'Secure' and 'Port' are correct > OK for each window.
The connection server helps find the right location to synchronise with other servers- if this shows 'failed' change your YM settings to connect via a proxy.This can be done from the menu on the sign in page > Messenger > Preferences > Connection -adjust settings > Apply > OK

Please check your username & PASSWORD again.
Try logging using your ID also.

Wait out for a day, if nothing happens re-register with Facebook.
There is certainly no problem with Facebook, do check your username & password again.
