Question about Canon PIXMA MP130 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

My watermarks are printing as pink instead of gray, this started happening after I changed the black cartridge. I have not made changes to the original document, and normal text still prints as black

If that is a refilled cartridge, you might have a problem with the ink. try print something (text) in pure black , and grey only, and see waht happens, if does notprint, means the printer has hard time with that black cartridge.

I have one problem with hp laserjet P4014n printing all paper black. the background is black all but word are showing can someone help me in this

If your background is "Black" it's going to print it all black, change your background color to "Gray" and your machine will then print a gray background instead of black. Also note that when you print a black background your toner life expectancy will be no where your expected yield ratio is. Average yield is 5% for X (X meaning size of cartridge) amount of printed pages. If your printing a black background your utilizing 100% yield coverage. Not sure if this is the answer your looking for. However basic black and white printing with a black background will print the page completely black.

Hello, My epson printer doesn't print the scales of grey right. It prints black, but the scales of gray look like green-blue. Thank you PS The ink catridges are new.

Have you recently changed the black cartridge with a non-standard or remanufactured cartridge? I'm having the same problem with my deskjet and it started when I changed my Black cartridge for a non-HP refill.

It prints gray instead of black. I set it to econo print and even after changing the setting to no econo, it still prints gray.

Maybe your toner cartridge is bad. Or the transfer roller might be very dirty.
When was the last time your poor printer had a maintenance kit installed?

Just chaned ink cartridge and every thing printed out pink clean the pink and now nothing is printing tried cleaning the head and did the nozzle check and still not printing

It seems to me, if you have changed your colour cartridge that is, that you do not have enough black ink in your black ink cartridge, so you should change this also.

Prints color, not black. I have changed the

Please check your printer setup. from the document you are printing. Choose the printer from the FILE menu (depending on what program you are running) Printer SEtup or Properties, somewhere you will find an option, Print in color? or Black, Click on the Black., come out of the menu and then print, I am pretty sure you have chosen color.
Hope this will fix your problem.

Everytime I change my print to grayscale it prints in pink

Not knowing what sort of printer you have it's hard to pin-point exactly what the issue may be. Taking an educated guess I'm going to guess that you are using an inkjet of some sort. These printers will often use a combination of the cyan, magenta, and yellow inks to make black and shades of gray, and it is possible to get pink instead of gray if the cyan and and yellow are to low to provide a mix to produce gray. Try new ink cartridges to see if that makes any difference...some printers, like DesignJets use individual cartridges for each colour, and most small printers use a combination cartridget that contains cyan, magenta, and yellow ink in different reservoirs in the same tank.

If you are using a printer that doesn't require both the colour cartridge and the black cartridge in to function, try pulling out the colour cartridge and printing in grayscale. Most printer drivers are designed to recognize the fact that the printer only has the black cartridge in it and will automatically make the necessary adjustments.

Print coming out gray even with brand new HP cartridge

either it could be set in the printer properties to print in gray scale or it could be the lens of the printer that needs replacement as if the lens go weak the prints come out very light.

Hp psc1210 will not print black but will print gray

Gray print does not use black ink. It only uses the color cartridge. I assume you already changed the black cartridge. Make sure it is the right one for your printer and it is not a generic refill. The generic might be OK but I wouldn"t trust it complety. Make sure your cartridge is properly seated in the holder.
