Question about Canon EOS 500D / Digital Rebel T1i Digital Camera
You'll have to set the aperture to a higher number. Set camera to Aperture Priority mode and increase the number (usually set at 2.8). The higher numbers will preserve foreground and background focus but will require more light - not a problem in outdoor daytime but at night or indoors will need flash.
