I tried to remove rivets, no luck. I used WD40 to lubricate replacement foam and slipped it over the big plastic caps. Hard to start but worked well, foam did not tear, all fixed.
i got back to the shop that i purchased the buggie from. They ordered new pair of handles. I also emailed maclearen to see if i can get other than foam handles. They said no can do. I think I will have replace them again. Not too happy that they have to replaced so soon only got buggie in April.
