Question about Microsoft Windows 98 for PC
You have to determine what program causes the "Illegal Operation" and remove/uninstall that.
Since it is presumably among your start-up, it may be found in:
1. click on Start, Programs, Startup;
2. click on Start, "Run", type "msconfig", Startup tab;
3. click on Start, Programs, Windows Explorer, right click on Autoexec.bat, edit;
4. click on Start, Programs, Windows Explorer, right click on config.sys, open with Notepad;
Good luck and kind regards.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
