Question about Kyocera Copystar CS-1820 Black and White Copier
I have tried to set up the kyocera 1820 to scan to another printer
I have gone into the command center and set up an address. I put in the name of the other printer, the IP address of the other printer, LP1 for the path and made sure that the FTP was on it is set to port 21. When I try the scan I get a send error 2102. Did i miss somthing??
Any help would be nice thanks
I reset the IP adderss to another printer on the network and it worked so it looks like not all printers are compatable

2101, 2102, 2201, 2202, 2203, 3101:
The network cable is disconnected or the hub that it is connected to is not operating properly. Check the cable and the hub. Otherwise, the server name or the host name of the SMTP server is not set correctly. Use COMMAND CENTER and register the SMTP server name and the host name correctly.
The link below takes you to Kyocera's Scan to SMB setup guide on GFBM's website (they are a Kyocera dealer). The guide setup guide is good and gives pictures and examples.
I hope this is helpful,
