For dot printer lx -300 and other , there is no need softwere fof it . go op on start then clickon setting.click on printer and fax.than go printer task and instal it....thank

Hi, it depends on which operating system you are using. By deault some operating system got the Driver. otherwise you need to install the driver for the printer. for driver download follow the link http://download.cnet.com/EPSON-LX-300-II-ESC-P/3000-2116_4-106032.html.

Installing LX-300 + II without the CD installer
Hi Good day!! if yoiur using winxp OS it easy to install because it is already installed in your winxp all you need is to activate it. to do: connect your printer and then You need to go to Start, Printers & Faxes, click on Add a Printer and follow on screen instructions. Windows will not auto detect/install the LX3, you need to manually point to Windows the Manufacturer as Epson and select LX-300 and continue.

How can i instal my epson LX-300 printer? i lost the installer disk
Hi warrenjezree,

No reason to worry, at all!
Loosing the installer disk is not an issue because the drivers for your printer are available for download on this page of the Epson website.

Please select the Operating System that is running on your computer and download the drivers.
Once downloaded, please double-click on the downloaded file and follow the on-screen prompts to compete the driver installation.

I am sure that this will resolve the issue you are facing.

How do i install an epson lx 300 printer to a vista machine using a parallel to usb converter? i can't locate nor create usb 001 port with the driver cd of the said printer.

3. Printer and Faxes
4. Add a printer
5. then Next
6. then Next
7. then Next
8. then Next
9. select Manufacturer name : Epson
10. select Printer name : Epson LX-300
11. Next
12. Windows will automatically install the driver for your Printer
