OK, Buy Win XP and install. Do ALL the Updates and in say 48 hours straight, of updates, your good to go, The drivers for your machine will be a bit of a problem as well. Good Luck
seems like the lcd screen is damaged for impact you may need to replace it (screen or the complete laptop easy to rescue your data or transfer to a new laptop good luck!
In most cases the screw is on the bottom, flip laptop over, there should be one or two screws located in that square, remove them, "sometimes a button release" open tray door and pull out until driver slides right out.
