Sony Vaio VGN Ar230g My computer turns on and works fine but when i try getting online or try using messengers or any other programs related with online things, the internet doesnt work. I tried formatting the notebook but I never got the CD when i bought the notebook. How can I fix this problem?

1) Make sure it has a Wireless Card
2) Make sure You connect to a wireless access point before you get online.
You can try using firefox, if the PC is saying your getting a connection, if it works, try turning off proxy in your internet settings.
