Question about Microsoft Remote Control for Windows Media Center 2005 Remote Control
It used to work just fine - hadn't used it in over a year. However, I have done a system restore on my pc during that time, to sort out a virus issue, so wondering if there's something I need to download in order for the remote and infrared to work again? the red lights flash on both, but nothing happens - help!
Hold down the “DVD Menu” button and the “1” key at the same time for 5 seconds (or the "2", "3" or "4" key if you want to have the remote broadcast on one of the other supported channels instead. After 5 seconds, the LED on the IR receiver should blink twice, and your remote should work correctly again.
