What do you mean by flash mode?
Have you read the manual how to use the camera?
If nothing from there helps, try connecting it via USB and check if there is firmware update. If even that doesn't help, try acessing menu and doing hard reset from there.
I hope you have bricked up your phone. Just use ODIN, download stock rom zip packages, put phone in download mode, plus USB, load rom files in ODIN, flash the update and then it will work. (Actually it worked for me).
If you can't get it shut down, then try leaving it on but unplugged until the battery is completely dead. Hopefully when it is plugged back in and charged for a few minutes it should restart normally. If this doesn't work, then you should contact Blackberry Tech Support for your area, they are usually quite good to deal with, but I suggest contacting them by phone as email can be cumbersome and take several days to make progress. Their phone number for your country should be on the website. Obviously your playbook is still under warranty as it wasn't released more than a year ago.
A stuck shutter is another common failure mode for digital cameras. The symptoms of a stuck or "sticky" shutter are very similar to CCD image sensor failure. The camera may take black pictures (for shutter stuck closed), or the pictures may be very bright and overexposed, sometimes with lines, especially when taken outdoors (for shutter stuck open).
To confirm a stuck shutter, put the camera in any mode other than "Auto", and turn the flash OFF (you don't want to blind yourself for the next step). Next look down the lens and take a picture. You should see a tiny flicker in the center of the lens as the shutter opens and closes. If no movement is seen, then you likely have a stuck shutter. If so, please see this link for further info and a simple fix that may help.
Recommend trying the pencil tapping fix listed in the link. It worked on my SD1000 with the same problem.
can you get into recovery mode? (hold down home while booting) or into the bootloader? (hold down camera while booting). If you upgraded the radio without upgrading the spl, then you can get to the state where no other boot works. There is no documented method to get out of this. They call it "bricking" your phone. Holding down the "ball" causes a slightly different boot that might allow recovery, but nobody appears to know how to do this yet. It may be that some of the extra pins in the 11 pin HTC USB are useful in this mode, but again, nobody knows howto yet.
try opening your AGENT V game application and then hang it on by pressing the joystick to the left as fast as you can 'til the loading timer hangs. exit from the said application and then check your cam if it is working. if not, repeat the process...be patient...
Defective mechanism, a stucked mechanism is present. camcorder are smart it can detects error and shuts down itself for safety. earlier models dominoes the defect if the user is not quick enough to react when something goes wrong with the camera. you need professional service to fix it.
