Question about Canon CanoScan 8400F Flatbed Scanner
I am running Windows XP SP2. I've downloaded the software from Canon to intall the scanner. When I run the setup, it appears to be putting files "somewhere" but no install screen appears and the scanner is not found. I have tried about everything to get this scanner "re-installed". It was once, then wasn't recognized as a USB device by windows. When I turn the scanner on, it says it's not a recognized USB device. Can't find where the software is be unzipped to.
The software unzips to 'C' drive and should locate itself to the appropriate areas.
I suggest you get onto Canon support for this one.
