Hotpoint

Most dishwashers require heater to acheive a pre set temperature before continuing the cycle, if temp if not acheived then often machine will continue on its current cycle (ad nausium) untill temp is acheived, if heater is not working then this of course will never happen, most heaters are visable in base of washer interia, take a look ,is there any damage that you can see.it can be fixed, and heater replaced if necessary.

No power getting to the dishwasher. I've checked the circuit breakers and they seem to be working fine. When I try to start the unit nothing happens, no lights, no anything.

Make sure if your dishwasher has a power cord that it is plugged in to the wall outlet under the sink, or open and close the door a few times to try make sure the door switch is getting triggered letting the dishwasher know that the door is closed and the power can go through the switch and power up the control panel, those are just simple quick checks you can do on your own, otherwise you may need a tech to troubleshoot for you. Good luck !

Our PLD4375RFC2 dishwasher fills up with water but doesn't run

no their is no fuse. sound to me like your motor is not working, however
the pump should still drain out.push cancel only and unit should drain if it does then id say motor bad. you can try to take apart and check motor blade ive seen toothpics, food , other objects hold motor impeller from turning making it seem like its the motor but actually its just stuck..remove btm wash arm and filter cover thentake two or 3 small screws from a plastic cover covering motor impeller, look to see if anything is in their if so remove. warning if you see a white ball down their leave it alone reinstall and see what happens. hope this helps.

Sometimes the best solution is to save to disk the important things and just reinstall everything.

Kitchenaid double-drawer dishwasher will not start

i just installed a used dishwasher. It filled up with water then stopped. The lights are still on as far as the cycles but nothing is happening. I did the factory diagnostic test and the service diagnostic test, not sure how long each test was supposed to take because after it seemed to go through each cycle by the lights on the front nothing else happened. I waited over 30minutes because I didn't know how long this was going to take. When all the lights on the front went out I tried to turn it on like to run a wash cycle and nothing is happening and the bottom is still full on water. HELP!!

Nothing is working!

UNLIKELY YOU HAVE A MAJOR PROBLEM. USE AN EXTENSION AND TRY ANOTHER PLUG AS WELL AS CHECK YOUR DOOR LATCH.CLOSE DOOR FIRMLY AS THIS CONTROLS POWER GOING TO THE VARIOUS COMPONENTS.
