Question about HP Color LaserJet 3500 Printer

3 Answers

I have roller marks on my paper from my HP 3600n laser printer. Every time I use heavy weight or even a glossy finish it leaves two marks on the paper. I'm sure its from the roller that pulls the paper in. And it doesn't matter what setting I have the printer on. Any suggestions on a quick fix?

My printer prints tiny black dots about 1 inch apart in the middle of every page. Nothing I do seems to fix the issue.

I love this printer, but it has always done this to me too. No longer a supported model on the link provided above.
The only thing I have figured out is to get a good eraser.

Hp 3600n prints 3 faint lines on letter head only and not on other paper. What is causing this?

It could be a couple of problems:
1. Your toner needs to be changed
2. You need to clean your printer
3. You paper weight is too thick and the toner is reacting to it by leaving streaks on your paper.

See if those help

Glossy A4 paper will not feed. Is it too heavy?

Actually, if printer is new, printer can feed up to 350 grm. But if pick up rubber at paper feeder mechanics had distort/loose thickness, it can't. Try to use 210 gsm glossy paper. Or, if you wish to use 280 gsm, pull down paper while printer grab paper.

Gray background where printo on glossy paper 130g/m2

hello

this sounds like a bad black ink cart, or the fuser rolls built into the printer are dirty.

you can swap out a black cart to test that theory, you can also just print a single blank page (no text or graphics) onto a piece of glossy paper and see if there is anything there after its gone thru the printer.

if the piece of paper has stuff on it it had to come from the rollers inside the printer.

service required, unless your comfortable changing out parts in your printer.

Samsung CLP-300 dark prints and smears

For starters remember this is not meant to be a PHOTO Printer, I am guessing the Spearing is because Glossy paper does not hold the toner like Regular paper or at least until it is fused. I am a technitiian and i also own this printer.

Sorry I cannot be anymore help but try using a paper that is about 10-20 gsm lighter.

Thanks J

Printing on heavy cardstock

HP recommends papers with ratings of at least 90 for brightness and 75 g/m2 (20 pound) weight. before u proceed....remove the rear access door to reveal the rollers.Take a slightly wet cotton cloth and wipe the rollers in the upward direction 4 times.Close the rear access door. now do as said - START -PRINTERS & FAXES -CHOOSE THE PRINTER ICON THAT HAS BEEN HIGHLIGHTED WITH A CORRECT MARK. - RIGHT CLICK - PRINTING PREFERANCES - PAPER/QUALITY TAB - CUSTOM -Create a new custom paper size that is dependable on the paper you are using - type a name & SAVE -ok -ok -try printing if the problem still insists the report back and do mention which tool you are using for the printout. if its heavy pearlized paper then i do not think th eprinter would accept it . it maintains its own standard weight to detect the paper.
