Sony Vaio VGNNR330E laptop wont start up right even after recover

SOny Vaio VGNNR330E laptop was recovered with a recovery dvd and again I am experienceing the same problem I experienced the first time. My problem is my computer doesnt load only to a black screen. Im thinking the hard drive inside the laptop is messing up but Im not sure.

I think you may have bad sectors on the hard drive which is why it loads the software but then when it comes time for the system to read it, it just hangs cause it can't read into the sectors on the hard drive.

Best way to determine this, try another known good working hard drive and if it goes thru all the way and loads then you know the original hard drive is bad.

I lost all data from my sony vaio vgn-nr498e even original windows(home premium) and recovery partition.how can i recover it if i am using another windows at present

How to recovery without cd sony vaio


When you turn it on, if you are given the choice of what to boot[press F8? key when booting], pick the recovery console, and recover from the hidden partition on the hard disk. Most allow you to use the hidden recovery partition to make a DVD for backup. I would do that, too.

Regarding the Hidden partition
You can reformat the Vaio back to it's original state by going to All Programs -> Vaio Recovery Tool -> Vaio Recovery Utility and choosing either Recover Drive C:\ only or to recover the whole computer back to factory settings

usb
etc.......
then save changes.exit
