Pretty simple, make sure you unplug the range or flip the breaker off. Remove the two screws mounting the element to the back wall, carefully pull out the element. It probably has slide on connectors, pull them off and thats it! If you accidentally pull off a wire and it stays back in the stove, you can pull the unit out and remove the back panel and it will be all out in the open.

Did not find an error code "F1-8"
I did find these. Seems that about everything that can go wrong with a Jenn Air is related to the clock.

Jenn Air W30400 wall oven does not heat.

Turn off the power to the oven.
Remove the racks.
Remove the BAKE element screws and carefully pull the element out.
Remove the wires from the element, being careful not to let the wires fall back into the oven cavity.
Use a volt meter set for continuity and touch the meter leads to the element terminals.
No reading is a bad element.
Replace the element.
If you do get a reading, the electronic control is bad.

I have an old model electric Jenn-Air D-120. Last night my oven bottom burner cought on fire and burned up. Can this be fixed or is the stove shot.

Usually the bake elements are relatively cheap and easy to replace. Use your model # and click on one of the links to the right and search for your part to make sure that it is still available. It would be worth repair.

Jenn-Air electric range

my jen-Air has a problem with it continuing to beep. Ive tried to get it to stop by pushing all the buttons. When I pust the off/cancel button it just keeps beeping. Tried the stop timer button and same thing. When I turn on either the bake or convection bake button it automatically just shuts off by itself. It is approx 10-13 years old. HELP, or please tell me to get a new one.
