Question about Toshiba Satellite M45-S169 Notebook
Okay, so recentlly something strange has been happening with my computer (lets forget about the power issues alone for now, seeing as I probably have to open the poor laptop and fix it that way). No, this is something else. Recently, for some reason, my laptop was running slow. I defragged, I checked for virus', spyware, transfered files, systemed check... ect.. ect... (I really did do everything me and lots could think of). On a whim though I was moving it, grabbed the left corner (just south of the keyboard), and as soon as I did that the computer worked at top speed, buzzing along, happy as a ****.
It seems now that if I put pressure on the laptop there, it works fine. Is there something loose in my laptop? (I have no money to buy a new one, so please don't respond with 'you should just buy a new one', thank you).
Should I go into the power issues? Might as well, while I'm here.
Just recently my computer has been running on pure battery. If I wiggle the AC adaptor it would connect back to the wall and be fine, sometimes it took strategic placing. Well, just less then an hour ago that same thing happened and no matter what I've done there has been no change. I'm down to 14 minutes on battery... and yes, the cord is GOOD. There are indicator lights that show that it is good (probably just for reasons like this).
I was looking online, and there was mention for Toshiba's that the best bet in these cases it that it is the internal thingie, and something has happenned and to fix it it has to be open and whatnot.
Is this prolly the case with me as well? Or are there other things I should try.

To avoid the whole of those problems:
backup your data from the hard disk and start a formating procedure and install a new fresh copy and run a recentely updated antivirus and copie the data back to the lappy.
