Question about E-Machines eMachines W2686 PC Desktop
Power light on mb is on
fans all power on
rom drive flashes as it would booting up
So heres what I have tried to diagnose the problem
1. tried several different video cards
2. reseated the RAM
3. tried different RAM
4. Unplugged the system and held the power button down for 1 minute then plugged it back in abd tried booting it up.
5. Reset the CMOS
6. Tried different monitors.
7. Unplugged all the drives and booted it up.
Im thinking the CPU is fried. Can anyone think of what I may have forgotten to do? Im no stranger to building my own systems ive been doing it for years but this is screwy. I forgot to mention as well there are no beeps at the start up and the internal speaker is plugged in.
Did u try to replace ur processor, and try to put silecongrease clean the processor area.reset the cmos part.

Check the cmos battery, or replace the battery by a new one
