Problem for Canon PowerShot A610 Digital Camera

My A610 powershot getting on and off on its own.

when i went to beach water spilled on it and immediately it got switched off.then i cleaned it and changed the batteries. but it was getting on and off frequently, and lcd is not getting on .if it is put in shoot mode lens come out and retract immediately.otherwise it was working fine.what should i do. pl.give me a suggestion.

Water and electronics do not mix. It may not be fixable. :(
